About Crossray®

HOTTER, FASTER, 40% MORE EFFICIENT & LESS SMOKE

Grand hall spent four years developing the Crossray® burner system and has international patents on this technology. The gas burners are located behind vertically mounted ceramic tiles. When the ceramic tiles heat up they emit infrared heat which is angled onto the cooking surface. The heat from the tiles overlap to create an even surface of heat, similar to cooking on a bed of hot coals. Because the burners are angled and located on the sides, grease doesn’t fall onto the burners, virtually eliminating smoke and flare-ups. Infrared heat penetrates your food, cooking it from the inside out, giving you that great BBQ flavor as juices are sealed inside. The Crossray® infrared burners are also 40% more efficient than traditional burners since they are hotter, faster and use less gas. Crossray® burners will feature in the new T-Grill, DS-Grill, X-Series and Odeon outdoor kitchens.
